Get Back to Running Without Guessing What’s Wrong.
If pain is changing your mileage, pace, races, or confidence, start with a 60-minute one-on-one evaluation from a Doctor of Physical Therapy who understands runners. Leave with answers and a clear plan for what comes next. New patients can book with Dr. Giana for $99 (normally $225).
You Shouldn’t Have to Choose Between Getting Better and Keeping Your Training.
Maybe you’ve rested, stretched, changed shoes, or tried to run through it. What you need now is clarity: what is driving the problem, what can you safely keep doing, and what needs to change so it does not keep coming back.
Leave With Answers and a Plan.
Your evaluation is built to connect the injury to the way you train and move — so your next step is based on more than symptoms alone.
Understand the Injury
We review your symptoms, training history, goals, previous injuries and what changed leading up to the problem.
Assess How You Move
We evaluate strength, mobility and movement — and, when appropriate, your running mechanics — to identify what may be overloading the injured area.
Know What to Do Next
You leave with a clear plan for what to address, what training may be appropriate, and how we’ll work toward a confident return to running.

Your Appointment Is for You — Not Your Insurance Company.
Cadence is cash-based by design. That lets your session stay focused on your recovery instead of insurance restrictions. We accept HSA and FSA cards, and we provide a superbill with the PT billing codes your insurance needs so you can submit it for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Before You Book.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No. New Jersey allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can schedule directly with Cadence without first getting a physician referral.
Do I have to stop running?
Not necessarily. Part of your evaluation is determining what your body can safely tolerate while you recover. When appropriate, the goal is to preserve as much training as makes sense instead of automatically removing running altogether.
What happens during my first appointment?
We review your injury and training history, assess strength and movement, and when appropriate evaluate your running mechanics. You leave with a clearer understanding of what may be driving the issue and a plan for what comes next.
Do you take insurance?
Cadence is cash-based and does not bill insurance directly. We accept HSA and FSA cards and provide a superbill upon request so you can submit it to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
